Visiting Brighton from LondonIf it is one of those hot summer days and you are suffocating from the heatwave in London you can take an hour-long train ride from London to Brighton. Once a fishing village, it has become one of the most popular seaside resorts in the United Kingdom. The main take-off point from London is the Victoria train station. But if you should be arriving by Eurostar from another European city there is a direct train connection at St Pancras to Brighton. The Brighton tourism office is at Bartholomew Square. The town can easily be covered on foot without a map, more so if you just want to take in the sea breeze, or get in the water for a swim or just look around at the shops.
